Automotive Program Manager

Location: Shanghai

Educational Qualifications:
  B.E/ B.Tech in (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Production, Automotive etc)
  Strong academic background is a plus

Work Experience:
  3+ years of professional experience in automotive industry
  Hands on experience in product design in above mentioned automotive subsystems
  Good exposure to manufacturing related to any of the above mentioned automotive  subsystems
  Component/Sub-system/System level validation experience
  Thorough knowledge of engineering product development cycle
  Supplier management in China is a plus

Special skills/Knowledge required:
  Strong communication skills, analytical skills and problem solving skills
  Experience with CATIA, VPM and other CAD packages and exposure to manufacturing process.
  Robustness methods, DFMEA, DVP&R and awareness of vehicle evaluation.
  Willingness to learn new tools and processes

Job Profile:
  Responsible for all sourcing action support until sourcing approval for appropriate commodity
  Responsible for setting all quality targets with supply base for a particular commodity
  Responsible for on-going product change management and interfacing with US engineering teams.
