Mechanical Engineer

Responsibility:
-Mechanical engineers for a leading MNC.
-Plastics Design
-Sheet metal structural design,
-Drawing creation,
-Tolerance analysis,
-Manufacturing process and equipment,
-Material features, test,
-Coating and plating, etc.
-Die-casting, plastic injection molding, thermal management will be plus.


Requirements:
•Master degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 year plus exp as specified above areas
•Or Bachelor degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 5+ years exp as specified above areas
•well understanding on Sheet metal and plastic part design
•well verbal and written English.
•Frequent user of common mechanical & materials measurements equipments
•Energetic team player with good interpersonal skills.
•Quick learner and keen problem solver.
•well understanding of Manufacturing process of mechanical engineering
•Skilled in soft wares (like Pro-Engineer / Solid works etc.,)



Materials Specialist – Metals

Roles & Responsibilities:
1.    Identify alternate materials for localization of automotive components – Ferrous & Non Ferrous materials
2.   Perform testing to prove the alternate materials
3.   Co-ordinate with 3rd party agents (CCC, GB, etc) to conduct and get certifications
4.   Identify opportunities for low cost materials as alternate choice for cost reduction
5.   Provide technical support to suppliers developing the components with the identified alternate materials

Requirements:
1.    Bachelors or Masters Degree in Materials/Chemical/Manufacturing /Mechanical  Engineering with Metals as specialty
2.   At least 3 years of working experience in the similar role
3.   Automotive field would be given priority
4.   Ability to understand physical and chemical properties of the metal materials
5.   Understanding of material standards such as, ASTM, SAE, JIT, GB etc
6.   Understanding of metal manufacturing processes such as Die Casting, Forming etc
